Once you complete an order with MELANIE MARiE, you will receive an automatic email to re-confirm your order. If you do not see it, it may have gone to your spam folder or an incorrect email address was entered at check out. Email us and we will get a new confirmation email sent out right away. Custom orders take up to 13 business days to complete. Due to overwhelming amounts of orders, the turn around time may be slowed down.
Once your custom order has been submitted, we immediately begin the process of production of your personalized items. If you would like to cancel or change ANY order, please send us an email immediately after it is placed or within 1 hour of placing the order.
If you wish to cancel your order after one hour of placing the order, there will be a restocking fee of 35% of the total amount of the item. If a custom order is complete, it cannot be canceled.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct, as we are not responsible for shipping fees to redeliver packages that have been returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
We do ship internationally. International orders are shipped via USPS. Please note that due to custom procedures in different countries, shipping may take longer. International shipping costs will have an extra charge.
If you are experiencing a non-delivery or your tracking information states that your package was delivered by the carrier but you have not received it; you must contact us within 5 days to file a claim. We will instruct you in how to work with the carrier to complete the claims process. Please note: Claims can take up to 30 days to complete (depending on the shipping carrier used).
Melanie Marie does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been reported as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered or for any packages that were stolen after the package was delivered.
If your package is damaged/lost/stolen: it is required that you contact USPS (United States Postal Service) to file a claim with them as those errors fall under the responsibility of the carrier. Please follow the instructions on the link below to file a claim with USPS: www.usps.com/help/claims.html
Please note that time-frames are a factor when attempting to file a claim.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) and paypal. Credit card information is verified prior to order processing.
Overtime, plated items will begin to fade. Below are some tips to keep them lasting longer:
- As our jewelry is delicate, we advise to not wear it during sports activities
- It's best to put your jewelry on last when getting dresses so that no lotions, sunscreen, perfumes or cosmetics come into contact with it.
- When cleaning, it's best to remove jewelry. Cleaning products often contain harsh chemicals which may harm your jewelry.
- We advise not to wear your jewelry in the pool or beach as the chlorine in the water or salt in the beach water may discolor your jewelry.
- Wipe your jewelry with a clean cotton or microfiber cloth to buff it gently. Do not use chemical cleaners as they can easily strip the gold finish.
Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products and sizes. We cannot guarantee product availability and products, nonetheless, may not be available for immediate delivery. We reserve the right, without liability or prior notice, to revise, discontinue, or cease to make available any or all products or to cancel any order. If there is any revision, discontinuance, or cessation, we may, in our discretion, ship products which have substantially similar functionality and specifications to the products ordered or cancel your order. If we are out of stock on an item you have ordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation.

MELANIE MARiE stands behind the quality of all of its products. We will repair your items, while some charges may apply. We will be more than happy to repair your items for free as long as the damage sustained was a defect of the manufacturing process and not caused by the customer. These type of repairs, would need to be reported within 3 days of receiving the item.
All sales are final. Custom items are made to order. Therefore, we do not provide refunds on custom made jewelry. Please note that custom orders are final sale and may not be exchanged. NOTE: Shipping and handling and customs charges are non-refundable.
An authentic MELANIE MARiE bag is made of natural leather. Slight differences in colors and textures are characteristics of natural leather. Special care is advised for treated colors (embossed, metallic, suede etc). Periodically, dust your bag off with a damp white non- abrasive cloth. Do not saturate the bag in water and please let the bag air dry. We recommend your bag be treated by a leather professional.
If an item that you ordered is unavailable or there are any issues with your order, we will notify you via email.
