The custom plated items have a base metal of sterling silver and are dipped in 14k gold. This means, the necklace will not turn your neck green.  Over time, the necklace plating will fade.  Be sure when not wearing your necklace to place it back in the plastic bag it came in.

Here are some tips to keep them lasting longer.

As our jewelry is delicate, we advise to not wear it during sports activities.

It’s best to put your jewelry on last when getting dresses so that no lotions, sunscreen, perfumes or cosmetics come into contact with it.

When cleaning, it’s best to remove jewelry. Cleaning products often contain harsh chemicals which may harm your jewelry.

We advise not to wear your jewelry in the pool or beach as the chlorine in the water or salt in the beach water may discolor your jewelry.

Wipe your jewelry with a clean cotton or microfiber cloth to buff it gently. Do not use chemical cleaners as they can easily strip the gold finish.
